Hello there! I am Mike. I was born in Hagerstown, Maryland and grew up in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, just across the Mayland/Pennsylvania line from Hagerstown, Maryland. I graduated high school from Greencastle in 1987 and moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas for about 5 years and then moved back to the area finally settling in Frederick, MD.  I have one sibling, a younger sister, who recently got married.  Oh and my niece, Kaitlyn, cannot forget her.  She is growing up so fast.

I am a geek at heart. I love technology and especially things that are on the bleeding edge. Along with that goes the desire to want to learn as much as possible about as much as possible. My favorite web site is howstuffworks.com.

I own a company called Genius Idea Studio, LLC.  Genius Idea Studio started out as a small side venture for fun and has grown to contain 3 sub divisions as well.  Not a whole lot of detail here about them but you can visit them at: www.geniusideastudio.com, www.gismarketing.com and www.crazyeyestudio.com.  The newest division is still under construction but will be focusing on digital signage.  Fortunately, one of my strengths is developing processes and now also outsourcing.  The mundane and not fun tasks are outsourced or handled by staff.

As you can see by all of the stuff on the right, I am pretty connected.  But I do like to unplug from time to time.
